Mark as Useful I received a call on my cell yesterday. Indian male identified himself as Andrew Brooks with the State Investigators office. He had the last 4 digits of my SS# and said there was an investigation against me. He said something about I owed money to a payday loan blah, blah blah. I knew it was a fraud call because I have never had a payday loan. I immediately went and googled the phone number, saw it was a scam and confronted him. Told him it was illegal to impersonate a govt official. Also told him to remove my name from their calling list or they would get sued for harrassment. He hung up.
